Claim : A fake Facebook account named “Walmart’s official page” claimed that you can win a “$500 store credit” or “$500 Walmart credit”.

Fact :  A fake account named as “Groceries today” on facebook, posted a survey scam stating that “WalΜart managers are giving ~500 $ Grocery Credit~ to people above 40 years old this week. Fill in 3 questions to participate”. WalMart don’t provide 500$ groceries as a complementary gift for just three random answers. This claim is obviously fake and spam.

Claim : Reality Television series “Little People, Big World” artist Amy Roloff passed away on November 2022.

Fact : Roloff just experienced heart stroke in mid November and she is still alive. There is an update in her official Facebook page about her upcoming live event with Lisa Dixon on December 1, 2022. Also she posted a video about Thanksgiving Deserts on her official facebook account just 12 hours ago.

Claim : Will Elon Musk vote for DeSantis over Donald Trump in upcoming 2024 election?

Fact : In Twitter, Elon Musk tweeted that DeSantis has a better chance of winning in the upcoming 2024 election. On July 12, 2022 he tweeted “Trump would be 82 at end of term, which is too old to be chief executive of anything, let alone the United States of America. If DeSantis runs against Biden in 2024, then DeSantis will easily win – he doesn’t even need to campaign”. It is identified from his tweets that the proposed statement is not false.

Claim: US President Joe Biden following the unusual practice of carrying “Cheat Sheets” or instructions at Public events.

Fact: White House staff preparation for public events may vary from president to president. And also the usage of instruction sheets or written notes during public events by any officials including president is always common and this is not found unusual. These activities are always acceptable. Hence this claim is considered to be false and those photo evidences are really awkward.

Claim: Did Budweiser deleted his tweet “Well, this is awkward…” on Qatar’s decision to ban the sale of beer in FIFA World Cup matches.

Fact: This fact is actually true. Beer brand Budweiser tweeted and deleted the above mentioned tweet on Nov 18, 2022. Some social activists, journalists and news outlets had taken the screenshot of that post before it gets deleted.

Claim: A viral picture of Michael Jackson and Biggie Smalls having meal together is taken originally?

Fact: No, It is an edited image of two separate photographs. In actual picture, Michael Jackson is sitting and eating alone in the recording studio Caribou Ranch at Colorado. Another image of Biggie is taken with his then-wife, singer Faith Evans. Nettie’s edited those pictures and made it viral.

Claim: Did Johnny Depp comment about animal violence?

Fact: A random twitter account posted an update with the quote “If you don’t like seeing pictures of violence towards animals being posted, you need to stop the violence, not the pictures” and claimed the author as Johnny Depp. We don’t have any evidence and still it is unproven that this quote is actually commented by Depp.

Claim: Did ICE-T Tweeted about comparing Trump to Satan?

Fact: On Nov 7, 2020, ICE-T tweeted, “I can’t believe people are comparing Trump to Satan. Yes, he’s evil, but he’s certainly not as evil as Trump.” from his verified twitter account. Obviously this claim is true.

Fact:  After deadly riots at the US Capitol on Jan 6, 2021, Trump was banned from the twitter. On November 20, 2022, Elon Musk tweeted “Trump will be reinstated”. He announced that he would let former US President Donald Trump back on Twitter.

Fact: This fact is true. On Nov 14, 2022, UVA Emergency Management tweeted as “UVA Alert: ACTIVE ATTACKER firearm reported in area of Culbreth Road. RUN HIDE FIGHT” in their official twitter account.

Fact: Blue Owls picture shared on the internet is not real. An image posted by one of the facebook account was obviously fake.

Fact: Scientists reveal that a genetic mutation, happening around 10,000 years ago, led to the repression of melanin for humans with blue eyes. This theory finds that every human with blue eyes today can be traces back to one ancestor with one genetic mutation.

Fact: Washington, the first president of U.S., did not author the claimed quote. At some point before the age of sixteen, George Washington copied “The Rules of Civility and Decent Behaviour in Company and Conversation” in the last ten pages of a book of personal notes.

Fact: This claim is true. D.C. Board of Public Welfare decided not to take any action against Bobby Quigley, a three years old boy for his cigar habit. His Cigar Smoking photograph had been published in DC based paper, The Evening Star on 30th August, 1928.
