Illuminati Conspiracy Theories Myths

The Illuminati has been a topic of discussion for almost two centuries. One might wonder what made it so popular and why people are still talking about it. Some believe in the Illuminati, while others do not. For those who doubt its very existence, the Bavarian Illuminati was an organization founded in 1776 by Adam Weishaupt. It was a secret society formed to oppose superstition, religious influence, and abuses in politics. It was later disbanded and completely banished from the country. However, some conspiracy theorists worldwide still believe in the presence of the Illuminati to this day. How did it begin to evolve into conspiracy theories, and what are these theories? Let us examine some of the famous conspiracy theories about the Illuminati.

    • Conspiracy Theory – Illuminati still exists:

      Fact: No, not true

      • The topic of the Illuminati is surprisingly persistent; even after so many years, people are still drawn to this theory, with 23% reportedly believing in it. Despite the lack of proper evidence, those inclined towards a more intriguing view of life tend to believe in this theory. One of the main reasons for this belief is the rituals performed at Bohemian Grove. Prominent figures from around the world gather secretly in mid-summer each year to perform rituals beneath a giant owl statue, which some believe to be a symbol of the Illuminati. The secrecy surrounding these gatherings easily fuels such theories.
      • When people desire a force with superpowers to save the world and fight for righteous causes, they might be inclined to believe in the Illuminati, even if it doesn’t exist. Some imagine the members of the Illuminati fighting against corruption, inequality, and oppression, while others believe they are an evil force. It is more empowering to believe in ourselves and to create change rather than waiting for mystical entities.
    • Conspiracy Theory – Members of Illuminati control the world events:

      Fact: No, they don’t

As I question the very existence of the Illuminati, I wholly deny this theory. Believers in the Illuminati attribute even minor changes, past and future, to their influence. From the French and American Revolutions to the 9/11 conspiracy and the assassination of JFK, conspiracy theorists have linked historical events with the Illuminati. The claim that almost all popular leaders are members of the Illuminati and that important decisions are made in their favor is also prevalent. People who subscribe to this theory often immerse themselves in videos about the Illuminati, which are frequently created simply to gain popularity. In the contemporary world, where people choose their own leaders, the notion that a secret group controls global events is illogical.

    • Conspiracy Theory – Illuminati is trying to create the New world order:

      Fact: No, it isn’t true

The New World Order is often cited as the primary goal of the Illuminati: a single global government composed of Illuminati members controlling the entire planet. This theory has instilled fear in many, who envision a future ruled by an authoritarian regime. Some people find justification for this belief in symbols like the Eye of Horus and the pyramid on currency. Some even link reptilian rulers to the Illuminati, or consider them the same entity. These claims lack solid proof. On an extreme level, some believe that non-existent reptilian rulers are trying to take over the world.

    • Conspiracy Theory – US dollar bill was made by the influence of illuminati:

Fact: No, it is not true

The symbolism on the US dollar bill has fueled a prominent conspiracy theory. The pyramid with the all-seeing eye is widely believed to be a symbol of the Illuminati. The Latin words encircling the pyramid are interpreted as the goal of the Illuminati members: “Annuit Coeptis,” meaning “He (God) has favored our undertakings,” and “Novus Ordo Seclorum,” meaning “New Order of the Ages.” America’s founding fathers George Washington, Benjamin Franklin, and John Hancock are also sometimes claimed to have been members of this secret group who influenced the symbolism on the US currency. However, the symbolism has Masonic and classical origins, predating and unrelated to the Bavarian Illuminati.

    • Conspiracy Theory – Famous people are the members of the illuminati group:

      Fact: No, they aren’t

The members of the Illuminati are often purported to be high-ranking government officials, famous artists, singers, actors, and businesspeople. Beyoncé, Katy Perry, Justin Bieber, and Jay-Z are frequently accused in media circles of being part of the Illuminati. Beyoncé and Jay-Z are sometimes depicted as being at the head of the New World Order. Some celebrities, including Rihanna, Madonna, and Jay-Z, have intentionally incorporated Illuminati-like symbols into their work for artistic or provocative purposes. The influence of movies and songs that play on the mystique of secret societies leads some people to suspect the presence of the Illuminati. Despite the lack of conclusive evidence for the existence of the Illuminati in the present day, this remains a popular topic of debate.

    • Conspiracy Theory – Illuminati is working to destroy the world:

      Fact: No, it isn’t true

This theory gained traction during the pandemic, suggesting that the Illuminati were planning global destruction by introducing a virus. While illogical, this theory gained popularity and was reportedly believed by some individuals. Videos and news spreading this claim were viewed millions of times without any solid proof. Some proponents believed the virus was created by Satan-worshipping individuals and that measures like masks and shutdowns were unnecessary.
Surveys suggest that a significant portion of the population believes in at least one conspiracy theory, making the acceptance of this one unsurprising. To reiterate with evidence, the historical Illuminati was a secret group that aimed to bring about equality but was disbanded after a short period.

  1. It’s not a weird option at all. During the whole game you have to pick side between TF29 and Juggernaut Collective. Both of them can be useful to get the Illuminati, but at the same time both are dangerous and have questionable nature. As Peter Chang said, the Collective are anonymous, powerful and convinced they can decide what’s better for the world and society, plus motives and identity of their leader are unclear. And TF29 can just be a cover for the Illuminaty operations, as Vega said. Not giving the evidence to anyone is a “trust no one” option.

  2. Ok, but Trump really did use his Illuminati membership card to carve up lines of cocaine while debating Hilary Clinton, right?

  3. Thats entertaining the argument way more than it deserves, because even in the case that all these companies are run by Jewish people it’s entirely irrelevant to Kanye’s downward spiral. Jewish people don’t operate in some illuminati cabal like these weirdos pretend they do.

  4. The Illuminati, a secret organisation of Earth’s most influential heroes, blow up a parallel Earth to prevent it colliding with their own and destroying both universes in the process. This one was luckily uninhabited, but an unknown event is causing the multiverse to collapse and they know that one day they may be faced with an inhabited Earth, and be forced to make tough choices.
